Task Big 6 step one: "Task Definition:" You are Robert Frazer, a member of the Corps of Discovery for the Lewis and Clark expedition to discover the new lands west of the Mississippi River to the Pacific Ocean. Lewis and Clark kept meticulous journals of their experiences, as did Frazer, only Frazer's journal has been lost over time. Your task is to recreate Frazer's journal with information and drawings on ten important events of the expedition. Your journal will be in the same likeness of Lewis and Clark's journals: 4x6 with a cover and back. You will be getting information from Web sites through links from this webquest, from non-fiction books in the library, and the encyclopedia. You will write notes of the information you have learned, and then organize your notes to create your journal. Now take a moment to look at the rubric for this project by clicking on the "Evaluation" link at the left. This will help you get a better picture of what is expected. If you do not have a clear picture of what your final product should look like, what do you do? That's right! Ask questions! Do you know when it is due? Do you know if you can work on it from home or just at school? Do you know if you can get help or if it has to be only your work? These are the types of questions you should be thinking of... When ready, click on the Process link at the left to begin your task!
